The TRS/GPS adapter SNMP Agent can be downloaded to the SNMP Manager Web Server on the UPS.
This allows RS-232 or contact-type UPS to be monitored and controlled by the network administrator.
However, HP’s Open View, SUN’s Manger or equivalent, which is a network management system for SNMP, or Netscape Browser or Microsoft Internet Explorer are required.

When SNMP and http (Web Server) protocols are in use, the TRS/GPS SNMP adapter can easily implement UPS monitoring and control using LAN under network management. Most importantly, power management in remote locations should be provided via the Internet.

Since multiple computer systems monitor the UPS in combination with SNMP surveillance S/W, the function of safely stopping the system can be used to prevent unexpected power consumption.

UPSilon2000 is a UPS Monitoring Software using RS232c.

UPSMON plus is an intelligent power management program.Normally, the
